Shortened - The BCFW Request More Info Email

After responding to the intro text, a follow-up text prompts sending an email address with the company shortcode and five ones. For example: ABCD 11111 workers@crewdriverapp.com

Below is a copy of the email that is sent to the email address submitted.

Welcome to CrewDriver!

Q: Why have I received this email?

BC Fruitworks is using CrewDriver—an online tool for sending work offers.

Q: Why would I want this?

  • Only YOU can confirm a shift. It must come from your phone. We cut down mistakes in communication this way.

  • Offers are only sent between 8am and 10pm.

  • Accept an offer and we respond, no matter what.

  • You can always notify the system you've changed your answer by sending in a different response.

  • We'll always tell you if you're removed from a shift, a shift is cancelled, or if you can't be confirmed for a shift.

  • Your up-to-date schedule will be emailed to you weekly.

  • We will never try and double book you at the same time at the same organization.

Q: What’s a "work offer”?

You'll get offers for shifts on your phone. They originate from the organization you work for and are created by your coordinator there. You might have previously been phoned or emailed; those offers will now arrive in a simple text, allowing you to easily accept or decline the offers.

A work offer looks like:
BCFW 21345
The Big Event Load-in Shift
Sat, 27 Feb 18:00 - Sun, 28 Feb 02:00
@ Crewdriver Centre
"BCFW 21345 YES/NO"

Breakdown:

  • BCFW is the shortcode of the organization offering you the shift.

  • 21345 is the call ID. It will be different for every offer you are sent.

  • You’ll also get the project name, call name, date and time, and location. Your coordinator might also add a description or instructions.

Q: How do I respond to a work offer?

If you were to accept the work offer above, text back with:
BCFW 21345 YES

Want to turn it down? Text:
BCFW 21345 NO

If you accept an offer you’ll receive a text within minutes confirming that you're booked for the shift! It's that simple.

Q: What else?

If you want to be removed from any of the organizations using my software—or are receiving annoying unsolicited work offers from an organization—please get in touch with me and let me know.

I'm keen to make this work well for you. We always will take your phone call. If you need help with the software, if you want to make suggestions on how to improve it.
